What Can I Do?
For those wishing to help the republican cause in Canada, there are a number of options available to you. First of all, you should know that you are not alone, there are a number of groups on the internet for discussing republicanism and for promoting a Canadian republic, the biggest of which is the forum for Citizens for a Canadian Republic (CCR). If you feel the need to voice your thoughts on Canada becoming a republic to the government, you could always email or write to your MP. For those wanting to take a more direct approach,Rabble.ca has discussion groups on protest tactics and strategies, and advice on how to conduct successful demonstrations. While all of these options help the Republican cause, the best thing to do right now is spread the word.Tell friends and family about the need for a republic in Canada, let them know about the growing number of Canadians that support this cause and ways that they can help.
